Transport is provided by the local authority for all pupils who attend our school dependent on eligibility criteria being met. The contact number for SEN Transport Department is: 01865 323795.

Transport is automatically arranged for new pupils. If there are difficulties with transport, please inform the school and we will do our best to sort it out. Ultimately, the responsibility lies with the local authority, as we do not have the authority to change transport arrangements.

There is a passenger assistant on some vehicles but we must stress that it is not part of the passenger assistant’s duty to knock on the door for pupils. Equally, when the pupils arrive home it is for the Parent/Carer to greet the child from the taxi at the agreed drop off point. The passenger assistant is not expected to take pupils to the front door.

If your child is not coming to school for whatever reason, then Parents/Carers are asked to cancel the transport.
